Thank you for your interest in the Watertown Rails to Trails Grand Parade!

The Grand Parade will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 25th.

​

Participation is free and you may even distribute fliers, candy, or any other information pertaining to your organization/business or float.   

​

Please return completed registration forms no later than the end of the day on Friday, July 10, 2026. Registration forms received after July 10th may not be able to participate.   

​

Line-up will begin at the Public Works by Snap Fitness. 

​

The parade route will travel South down Lewis Avenue (through downtown) and then follow up the hill of the Freemont/Lewis Extension. The parade will turn North (right) onto Westminster Ave SW and end at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

 

*Fire Departments (other than Watertown) will line up on Maple Street, facing East.  
*Watertown Fire Department will line up on Lewis Ave N, facing South.  
*Floats that include multiple children should line up in the lot behind Snap Fitness.

 

PLEASE no stopping of the parade (Parade demonstrations must be done on the move).

We have permission to use St. Paul’s parking lot for the pick-up of float participants. We will inform you via email with any end-point or route changes.  

​

Final line-up placement will be sent out via email by Friday, July 17th.   

​

*Please keep in mind when building your float/unit that the parade will be traveling up the Lewis Ave/Fremont Street hill (see map).
 

*Please pick up after your animals in the parade.
